The group's principal activity is to manufacture stationary air compressors and blowers for industrial applications. The group operates in two segments. The compressed air products segment designs, manufactures, markets and services rotary screw, reciprocating, sliding vane and centrifugal compressors, positive displacement and centrifugal bowlers. The group's engineered vacuum systems are used in industrial cleaning and maintenance and are sold under the Invincible(R) and Cat Vac(R) trademarks. The pump products segment designs, manufactures, markets and services a diverse group of pumps, water jetting systems and related after market parts used in oil and natural gas production. On 05-Jan-2004, the group acquired Syltone Plc.
